new entry: ramblings of a writer

An independent author’s life is a lonely one. I sit and write my innermost thoughts and fantasies under the guise of fictional stories, and my experience of life in non fictional form....then what?

Well, then I want you to read them! But how can I get you to read them? Well, I put up information on my ‘timeline’ on Facebook, Linkedin, Google +, etc. etc.

But is it enough?

Well...no it isn’t actually, because as I use social media to advertise my wares, so do millions of other independent authors, so why would you read MY stuff?

I suppose that is down to me. It’s down to me to give you something that’s different, something you WANT to read, something extraordinary!

This I am trying my best to do, but in the meantime, can you help me? How about you click on ‘comments’ and give me some information? Things like; What do YOU like to read from the many genres there are to choose from? Adventure? Fantasy? Sci-fi? Humour?

Do you judge a book by the look of its cover?
