I don’t usually get involved with recipes, but I was so impressed with this one I just felt the need to share it. It’s quick and cheap and makes for very tasty eating.
Recipe courtesy of allrecipes.com INGREDIENTS: (Serves four) 1 Tablespoon brown sugar 2 Tablespoons honey ¼ cup Soy Sauce 2 Teaspoons chopped fresh Ginger 2 Teaspoons chopped Garlic 2 Tablespoons Hot chilli sauce. (can be left out if you don’t like hot) Salt and Pepper Flour 1 tablespoon vegetable oil 4 Chicken breasts METHOD: Mix together brown sugar, honey, soy sauce, ginger, garlic and hot sauce. Cut chicken breasts into small strips or chunks and lightly coat with flour and season with salt and pepper. Heat oil in a large pan on medium heat. Add chicken and brown both sides, about a minute each side. Pour the mixed ingredients over the chicken and simmer for about 10 minutes uncovered for the sauce to thicken....that’s it! Serve with rice or noodles or for some crunch bean shoots and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Enjoy...I did!
